While I do have several pairs of these specific pants AND they are excellent, I had to return this pair. I mistakenly thought these pants were the "High Line Ridge Stretch Pant", which is what I really wanted to order. I really hope that Colombia can offer the High Line Ridge Stretch Pant as soon as possible. it's heavier fabric weight plus stretch make it an excellent choice for cooler times of year!!!!
The best way to bundle up for the backcountry is to pile everything on like a layer cake and then peel it off piece by piece once the sun starts to thaw your frozen world.
This top seems very snug which seems to be all the rage these days, this style of fit radically departs from the historical thinking of "loose layers" for winter so for an old guy this takes getting used to. Other than initial fit, I'll know more when winter shows up.
First pair purchased as I normally use the SR II version which is much lighter weight. This Stretch version has a much better fabric/weight. It holds its shape no matter what the temperature/humidity. Extremely comfortable on the bike or out in town.
